Getting there...

Boston is well connected by all modes of transportation. Air travelers will arrive at Boston Logan International Airport located about 8 miles from Boston University, which can be reached by taxi (approximately $30) or subway ($1.25). Amtrak trains arrive at North Station (from Maine) or at South Station and Back Bay Station (all other services). Back Bay Station is closest to Boston University. Long distance busses arrive at South Station. Please check for directions to Boston University. We advise against renting a car because it is not required to get around and parking is always in short supply.

Airport public transportation options:
From outside of the baggage claim area, get on a blue/white bus with a "T" or "Subway" sign. These busses are free and take you to the Airport subway station on the blue line. At the Airport station, you will need to buy a $1.25 ticket from the vending machine. Take the blue line inbound to Government Center station. Change to the Green Line outbound and get on a "B" Boston College train. Go to the "Boston University West stop" to get to the Student Village or "Blanford St." to get to the SMG building for the meeting room. Alternatively, at Government Center station, you can get on any train except an "E" train and get off at "Kenmore Square" station and walk from there.
