Administrative Assistant to the Chairperson
Job Duties: To manage complex administrative functions for the Chairperson. The most important is to coordinate official appointments of faculty, research associates, and visitors, including the associated visa application process for foreign nationals. Other duties include organizing important departmental meetings, coordinating the workflow of the office clerical staff, coordinating production of the department’s annual report and other major documents, and handling other administrative tasks assigned by the Chairperson.
