	1. Send me a one slide summary of local software activites
           under SciDAC at your Lab/Univeristy. (A Latex or Plan text
           file is best.  I will integrate it into my Power Point
           presentation this weekend. Graphics (in .eps format) are
           also welcome.)

	   (I have these slides from Jlab, MIT/BU so far.)


        2. Who is coming to the Ground Hog Day Software Workshop at Jlab? 
               
                   (Saturday afternoon and evening 02/02/02) 

           What should be presented?

     Agenda for software meeting

     Data file representations:

      Brower: Edwards suggestion for XML for lattices, propagators,
          and other data.
      Mawhinney: UKQCD is getting funding for grid-based web-accessibilty
          of their data.  Liverpool - Alan Irving.
      Brower: Cross-coupling with other SciDAC projects needed
      Watson: is the PPDG contact and can report on ideas
          that they are developing
      
     Message passing, Level 1
      Mawhinney: Chulwoo is working on the QCDOC C++ calls that are
         very much in parallel with the QMP design, so need.
      Watson: Jie Zheng has message passing over Myrinet on gm.
         Getting halfway between gm and MPI latencies - bandwidth beats
         MPI by 50%.
      DeTar: Would be useful to have the latest documentation
         for QMP.
      Watson: lqcd.org is just about up and running

     Level 1 Linear algebra
      DeTar: We have some unresolved issues here.

**   Brower: We should list all of our unresolved issues.

**   Brower: Send Brower transparency to present local SciDAC work.
