Projects.  Current work relating to SciDAC

1. Next version 6 release of MILC code with incremental improvements.

2. Participate with FNAL in development of optimized x86 kernels for
   the MILC code.

3. Explore data layout optimizations for MILC code.

4. Develop an MPI parallel I/O interface for MILC code, 
   coordinating with FNAL.

Projects. Future SciDAC work requiring coordination

5. Defining community-acceptable SU(3) primitives and data structures 
   for the MILC code.  Coordinate with community.

6. Porting MILC code to QCDOC.
   Coordinate with Columbia.

7. Exploring SMP-node optimizations for MILC inverters.
   Coordinate with MIT/JLab.
